- The only thing missing is any mention of actually supporting the 32K fast
- versions of V34... They do say they will support any new standards...very
- sketchy. It would be nice if it said somthing like the new datpump will
- handle any upgrades expected in the next standard with only a flash rom
- change...
-
- I know it's kind of implied but with upgradable modems you're always
- buying promises. The display does look kind of cool. I really like the
- current display. It keeps me on top of the quality of my connecions.
- Having it all there all the time would be a definit plus. They also said
- it's user programmable so you can monitor anything you want to see. With
- that said how much is all this new stuff worth to me. Well I'd pay $50 for
- an upgrade from my SupraFax288... Not much more though. Lets face it these
- modems are going to be standards within a year at the rate things are
- going so prices will plumit. I also have to start saving up for my ISDN,
- or whatever type (modem) becomes the next standard...
-
- Just my .02...

- Enjoy,
